Dear SJA Parents and Guardians,

As you are aware, the re-registration season is upon us and we have recently sent home packages with your child(ren). We value your loyalty and commitment to our school community and would love to continue our partnership by offering priority enrollment for our current SJA families.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to review your financial statement and complete the information in the package and make any necessary changes to your place of residence, employment, email changes or any medical information that the administration should be aware of.

Please be aware that in order to secure your child’s enrolment, it is imperative that you submit your re-enrollment package and fees no later than February 12, 2018 at 4:00pm. After this date, all available grade-level spaces will be open to our families on waitlists who will then have the opportunity to secure any vacant positions.

Regards,

Helen Markovic Admissions Coordinator

After we finished reading 'The Little Fir Tree.' The story is about a fir tree that aspires to be taken home by people and decorated for a Christmas celebration. Finally he gets his chance and experiences the happiest two days of his life as he watches the family open gifts, laugh, and sing. Although the tree experiences some loneliness when he is placed outside, he finds hope in sharing his adventures with the garden plants.

Then we went to PE with Mrs. Jans.

After we build graham cracker houses!

We used graham crackers, vanilla frosting, fruit loops (the ones we DID NOT use for math from the box aha, sprinkles, smarties, and chocolate chips)

After we had first lunch and recess.

When we returned we created our s'ELF'ies.

Then we went to French with Mme. Stella.

We had an early second lunch so that we can be ready for the grade 3-6 afternoon concert. We watched them perform and got to see 'Christmas around the world' and heard Christmas songs in the native country's language.
